2 Months already

Its been 2 whole hot months already and time has certainly been moving along at pace with each day we have been out here. For the men of B Company 3 Rifles, we have been given a plethora of tasks which every person of every rank has taken in their step. Many locations have been visited, each has its own unique way of life, its own risks and each throws its own challenges our way. With every challenge that is layed down before us either through our own doing or by those out there known as the Taliban, we raise our game, awareness and remind ourselves that for everything we do the ‘people are the prize’ and that we are moving towards the transition of allowing the Afghan Security Forces to protect its own people and country which will in turn allow governance.

So I hope you have enjoyed the past months blog posts, images and have enjoyed seeing a part of our life out here in Afghanistan, the next month for sure will as always bring new challenges our way, more heat and sand will always be a part of our life out here, but as you follow the blog and the lives we lead, I can assure you all back home that you have every right to be proud of them all.

Regards Project Afghan.

About robgrimesphotography

Experienced and enthusiastic, I have a real passion for photography that I have gained over the years and that shines through in my pictures and my portfolio. I specialise in capturing those spontaneous moments that we otherwise could lose, either at your wedding or on a relaxed family shoot of your choice. I am always happy to talk about photography, so if you think I might be the right person to take your photographs then give me a ring to discuss your pictures, they are yours after all. Also a full time serving soldier in the Infantry in the British Army, but soon to be leaving the forces after Project Afghan finishes.
