The unknown scares me

I am a young man about to step into the unknown. I have prepared for everything that is possible that can happen to me. I know In my mind that I can deal with anything and everything that could possibly happen during my 6 months away. But I am fearful of the unknown, not knowing if anything will happen to me and if it was to happen, when it happen and what will happen. It’s the unknown that scares me. We are all just normal men and women doing amazing things and we are all apart of Project Afghan.

About robgrimesphotography

Experienced and enthusiastic, I have a real passion for photography that I have gained over the years and that shines through in my pictures and my portfolio. I specialise in capturing those spontaneous moments that we otherwise could lose, either at your wedding or on a relaxed family shoot of your choice. I am always happy to talk about photography, so if you think I might be the right person to take your photographs then give me a ring to discuss your pictures, they are yours after all. Also a full time serving soldier in the Infantry in the British Army, but soon to be leaving the forces after Project Afghan finishes.

  1. Huge amount of respect and good wishes to you. If there is anything as a photographer i can do to help, then please let me know (been meaning to say that for a while!!) 🙂

  2. I will be following Rob. Excellent historical work going on here that also serves as an education now. Best of luck to you and your boys in Aghanistan.

  3. Fear – noun – ‘An unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that someone or something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat’

Yourself and all that serve have to deal with this everyday. It’s not something that I would like to have to face day in day out. I’m extremely proud of you all.
